Danielle Romero (danielleromero@ou.edu) is a Senior studying Community Health. She is currently researching the experiences of medically vulnerable students during the COVID pandemic. She also has a previous bachelor’s degree in International Security Studies where she studied the effects of public health on national security.

Danielle is currently an Event Planner/Executive for Public Health Discussion and is working on a project focusing on racial/social determinants and the success of college students. She is also assisting in a project about the experiences of disabled students at the university.

Outside of school and organization activities, Danielle works for the Oklahoma State Department of Health in COVID response, as well as works for the YMCA as a Group Exercise Instructor.  She also enjoys spending time with her dog (Millie Bobby Brown Dog). Danielle and Millie would love for you to give them a physically distanced hello if you see them on campus.
