Isha Jhingan ( is a senior studying Chemical Biosciences/Pre-Medicine with minors in Spanish and Social Sciences. Isha has been a consultant for Public Health Discussions since August 2019 and has worked on the Nutrition and Healthcare Financial Literacy projects. She became involved in PHD to understand more about public health issues surrounding the OU/Norman community while providing tangible solutions to these problems.

She is also involved in many other groups on campus including being Vice Chair in Campus Activities Council, Vice Chair of OU’s premier student ambassador program Crimson Club, Leadership and Volunteerism’s LEAD Team, and being a Tour Guide on campus! Isha has conducted ovarian cancer and vaccine research throughout her time at OU and hopes to use her research to better public health understanding.
