Jennifer Pusavat ( is a junior studying Biochemistry and Spanish and has been a PHD Consultant since Fall 2019, working on the Environmental Health and Skin Care Projects. 

Outside of her involvement with PHD, Jennifer studies antibiotic resistance of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE), Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Escherichia coli under the guidance of Dr. Charles Rice. Additionally, Jennifer is a Peer Learning Assistant for the University College Action Center, President of Circle K International, Treasurer of Oklahoma Blood Institute Outreach, Sponsorship Chair for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and Outreach Committee Member for Minority Health Sciences Conferences.
