Kate Cruickshank (kate.i.cruickshank-1@ou.edu) is a sophomore at OU on the pre-law track studying Public Health with a minor in Mathematics and Medical Humanities. Kate has been a Public Health Discussions consultant since the Fall of 2020 working on a project assessing faculty and student perceptions of students with disabilities and the difficulties which arise in the registration and accommodation process.

Outside of school organizations, Kate is an intern at the Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy, a non-profit which creates policy to promote the well-being of Oklahoma children. She is also employed at Terre Verde Discovery School, where she works one on one assisting a student in a special education classroom.

In her free time, Kate enjoys hanging out with her friends (socially distanced, of course), reading, running, and snuggling with her cat, Smokey.
