Madison Sanford (madison.r.sanford-1@ou.edu) is a junior from Fort Worth, Texas, pursuing a degree in Community Health. This is her first semester working with Public Health Discussions. Outside of Public Health Discussions, she is involved in research concerning smoking habits of individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQ community under the guidance of Dr. Marshall Cheney from the Health and Exercise Science Department. She is also part of Alpha Sigma Kappa-Women in Technical Studies, where she serves as the Sisterhood Chair. After graduating, she plans to pursue a graduate degree in Neuroscience, with the intent of becoming a clinical neuroscience researcher.
